SUCCESS ON THE SOUTHERN STORMWATER
Since the acquisition of Transpacific Industrial Solutions (TIS) in early 2014, Intergroup has been maintaining many of the pre-existing contracts TIS had in place. One of these contracts was for the maintenance of the Auckland Council Southern Stormwater reticulation system. Intergroup took over this pre-existing contract and not only maintained the existing level of service but then began to exceed the outlined required level of performance set out in the contracts KPI’s. Due to Intergroups seamless takeover and impressive handling of this contract, the Southern Stormwater contract has now officially been handed over to Intergroup.
The Intergroup Drainage team, spearheaded by Daniel Reeves and Phillip Perry, are the leaders in the implementation of the new tablet-based, electronic data recording system for drainage maintenance and inspections. Intergroup is looking to roll this system out to other councils nationwide. Intergroup believes this will set a new standard for the recording of cesspit clean out and maintenance across the country.
This system enables live, real-time, accurate recording of not only the contract cleaning but also council pond inspections and critical grill inspections. This gives the council the ability to respond to the situation and identify the level of response. The operators can then take pictures and add notes so this can be responded to appropriately.
Intergroup plans on capitalising on successes like the Southern Stormwater to continue to reaffirm its place as New Zealand’s leading infrastructure and Industrial Services provider.
